Making you feel 10% better about your parenting abilities

Sophie McCartney, aka Tired ’N Tested, is a comedian and Sunday Times number one bestselling author.

Propelled towards internet stardom in 2017 for a mum parody of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’, in just a few years her riotous representation of modern day ‘mumming’ has earned her cult status with over 1.25 million adoring social media fans. Sophie is loved for her down-to-earth, no holds-barred approach to parenting and has had numerous viral videos – including her popular 90s makeover which has been viewed more than 16 million times. She became a household name after her MC Hammer parody ‘Can’t Teach This’ was watched all over the world due its hilarious and very relevant representation of homeschooling during the current pandemic.

Combining an astute ‘in it together’ comedic approach with original musical compositions, parody, sketch writing, documentaries, and traditional stand- up – she has racked up over 250 million online video views and appeared on numerous radio and television shows.

Liverpool-born mum of two Sophie is a rising star on the comedy circuit and was awarded the prestigious ‘Funny Women Award’ for ‘Best Comedy Series 2020’ as voted for by the British public. She also features on the Mother & Baby ‘Mum List 2021’ as the funniest mum on Instagram.

In March 2022, Sophie released her debut non-fiction book, Tired & Tested: The Wild Ride into Parenthood, which went straight in at number one in the prestigious Sunday Times Bestseller List.
