Privacy policy

Nobody enjoys reading these. This one is short, in plain English, and tells you exactly what happens to your details.

The short version

You give us your first name and email address. We use them to send you tour presales, book news and the occasional overshare. We don’t sell it, share it, or swap it for anything. You can stop it in one click, any time.

Who’s responsible

Tired and Tested Ltd runs this site and decides what happens to the details you give us. If anything here is unclear, or you’d like your details correcting or deleting, email lucy@thisiscoco.co.uk

What we collect

Your first name (you can leave it blank), your email address, and the date and time you signed up. That’s all. There are no tracking cookies on this site, no advertising pixels, and nothing quietly collected while you scroll.

Why we’re allowed to

Because you said yes. Signing up to the mailing list is your consent to receive emails from Sophie. Nothing else on the site needs your data, and nothing is used for automated decision-making or profiling.

Where it lives

Sign-ups are stored in this site’s own private database, which the public can’t read. They’re also copied to Brevo, the email platform Sophie uses to send messages. Brevo sends the emails and nothing else — it doesn’t pass your address on. No advertisers, no data brokers, no “partners”.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe. Once you do, your details are removed from both the site’s database and the email platform, usually straight away and always within a month.

Getting out

Every email Sophie sends has an unsubscribe link at the bottom — one click, no hard feelings, no questions asked. Or email us and we’ll take you off by hand.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Ask by email and we’ll deal with it within a month. If you think we’ve mishandled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changed your mind already?

Fine — the rest of the site needs no details from you at all. Have a look at the tour dates instead.
